Community Partnerships

Community Partnerships connect communities and utilities to deliver comprehensive and individualized initiatives to achieve energy savings and provide education. Partnerships focus on “bottom-up” outreach touching individuals with energy education and resources, motivating and empowering them to manage and reduce energy consumption. Our initiatives have ranged from compact florescent light bulb (CFL) give-aways and appliance exchanges to neighborhood energy education classes and shade tree distributions.

The key to Community Partnerships is addressing the individual needs and characteristics of communities to achieve energy savings, inform consumers, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
