Michael Brown has worked in environmental management for almost 25 years. Currently a partner at Brown and Wilmanns Environmental LLC, he provides strategic and technical consulting to improve environmental performance in various industries. Previously, Brown directed the Environmental Assessment Program at Patagonia Inc., and prior to that he oversaw environmental programs for the State of Massachusetts and the City of Irvine. In addition to his current consulting activities, he is the case studies editor for the Journal of Industrial Ecology. He holds an MRP and a PhD in environmental health from Cornell University.
