Charlie Carlson retired as Principal Consultant at Cottingham & Butler in 2020. He has over 50 years human capital consulting and executive experience throughout the United States, including a decade as a TEC HR consultant. Charlie was a partner in Carlson Dettmann Consulting and CEO of Survey Research Associates which was acquired by Gallup, Inc. and was head of human resources at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. He holds a Masters in public policy and administration with a specialty in human resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in political science and economics from the University of Illinois.
