Felicia brings expertise in the energy industry, grant acquisition, management, and research to her role as the Director of Funding and Research. She helps TEC and our clients to secure energy funding, establish partners, and develop and deliver decarbonization programs and services.
Felicia brings over 30 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary science and engineering projects and grants, with expertise spanning energy, water, environmental justice, and ecosystem protection. Her educational background includes a Doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering from UCLA, a Master of Arts in Physical Geography from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Prior to TEC, Felicia served as the Executive Director of the California Center for Sustainable Communities, Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA. During her tenure, she collaborated with TEC on several projects, including the Bassett Avocado Heights Advanced Energy Community. Prior to academia, Felicia worked in both private industry and consulting.
