Lauren Seymour, Assistant Director of Energy Services, has over eight years of experience helping local governments and communities take action to reduce energy consumption and increase resiliency.  She oversees The Energy Coalition’s portfolio of energy efficiency and distributed energy resource programs, including public sector programs for the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) and the Inland Regional Energy Network (I-REN). Lauren previously worked as an energy industry research specialist and was an Energy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy. She has a Master’s of Public Affairs with a focus on energy policy from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in international affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno.
