Monica supports project delivery for energy efficiency projects at TEC in collaboration with SoCalREN project managers and public agencies. She is passionate about implementing strategies that positively impact communities disproportionately affected by climate change. She has experience in community engagement, data analysis, technical and narrative writing, and science communication. Her interests include intersecting energy technology, environmental justice, and progressive policies. Her background is in scientific research, and she studied chemistry and materials science and engineering at California State University Fullerton and Johns Hopkins University.
