Owen oversees and supervises a cohort of California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) members across various service sites throughout Northern California. He helps train, recruit, and manage the next generation of sustainability professionals. He maintains positive and constructive relationships with staff at organizational sites doing the daily work in the communities we partner with. Before working with The Energy Coalition, Owen worked as an organizer and advocate in public health and tobacco control, taught English as a second language in Vietnam, and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at two non-profit organizations. Owen has a B.A. in Community Development from Portland State University.
