Tess Hooper is a Project Manager with The Energy Coalition (TEC) and is based out of their Los Angeles office. At TEC she supports the Education and Workforce Development Team through curriculum development and supports educator engagement. Additionally, she serves as a Regional Supervisor for the California Climate Action Corps Fellowship Program, where she supports placement of fellows and is a point person between the fellows and their host sites. Prior to joining TEC, Tess was a Biologist and Environmental Planner for Rincon Consultants, Inc., where she conducted biological field surveys and wrote Biological Resource Assessments as well as General Plan updates. Tess received her Master’s from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management in 2020, where she managed a group thesis project on the analysis of the environmental impacts of environmental education on nature preserves. Additionally, she holds a B.A in Environmental Studies and a B.S in Outdoor Adventure Leadership from Ithaca College.
