Orange County Register Names The Energy Coalition a 2021 Top Workplace

The Energy Coalition has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by the Orange County Register Top Workplaces! This award is particularly meaningful to TEC because the list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. The Energy Coalition is one of only 155 companies that made this year’s list!

The Energy Coalition employs a diverse workforce of over 50% black, asian, and minority ethnic staff (based on EEOC standards). Our employees work remotely and in four offices across California. Together, they have over 500 combined years of energy industry experience. Part of what makes TEC’s staff so successful in supporting the clean energy economy is our investment in professional development; TEC has invested the equivalent of over $100,000 in professional development time for staff in 2021 alone.

“We’re proud to have created a learning culture here at TEC where our team can grow and thrive,” said Doris Do, Vice President at The Energy Coalition. “This recognition as a top OC workplace is the culmination of years of intentional work creating a culture that leads with passion, acts with integrity, and takes our work—but not ourselves—seriously. Thank you to our people who shared their experiences at TEC and helped make this exciting award happen!”
