Introducing Our First Annual Sustainability Report

While we reflect on 2023 and look ahead into 2024, we wanted to take a moment to share our 2022 Sustainability Report.

Why 2022? Our team spent the last year gathering data, crunching the previous year’s numbers, and establishing a baseline to measure our sustainability work going forward. We put together this report to share where we’re at with worker, community, and environmental sustainability.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

As a nonprofit focused on sustainability in the energy sector, we are committed to “walking the talk” by operating as sustainably as possible. We are proud of what we have achieved since launching our internal “sustainability working group.” So far, the group has:

  • Launched an employee sustainability survey.
  • Created our own sustainability definition and vision.
  • Certified TEC’s Irvine office with the California Green Business Network.
  • Created a baseline report to inform our future sustainability efforts!

Our Future Plans

This report is just the beginning! In the year ahead, we will be focusing on:

  • Setting organizational sustainability goals and creating a plan to accomplish them.
  • Expanding on our California Green Business Certification to all our offices across the state.
  • Expanding our employee volunteerism programs.
  • Continuing to measure and track our progress.

We are grateful to the TEC team, our clients, our partners, and our broader community for supporting our sustainability journey! We are committed to working together to create the clean energy future while operating as sustainably as we can. You can check out our Sustainability Report here.
