TEC Shares Advanced Energy Community Pilot Project at International Conference

Global Forum on Human Settlements focuses on a just and sustainable pandemic recovery

The Energy Coalition was proud to present at the Global Forum on Human Settlements conference, which brought together an international community to heed the wake-up call that COVID-19 has offered to combine the post-pandemic recovery of people’s well-being with an aggressive transformation towards sustainability.

TEC shared information on our Bassett Avocado Heights Advanced Energy Community pilot project, which will bring affordable and accessible clean energy to over 250 families in a community disproportionately burdened by, and vulnerable to, multiple sources of pollution.

The project not only benefits a local community, but can serve as a model for future decarbonization efforts in California and worldwide. Learn more about TEC’s work in Bassett Avocado Heights here.
