For the second year in a row, The Energy Coalition has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the Orange County Register Top Workplaces! This award is particularly meaningful to TEC because it is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
The Energy Coalition employs a diverse workforce of over 50% black, asian, and minority ethnic staff (based on EEOC standards). Our employees work wherever works best for them, whether that’s remotely or in one of our four offices across California. Together, they have over 500 combined years of energy industry experience. Part of what makes TEC’s staff so successful in supporting the clean energy economy is our commitment to professional development; TEC has invested the equivalent of over $100,000 in professional development time for staff in 2022 alone.
“We are so proud to be acknowledged as a Top Workplace two years running,” said Doris Do, Vice President at The Energy Coalition. “At TEC, we know that building and fostering a positive workplace culture where all employees feel included in our mission is essential to our success. Our people are our biggest asset, and earning the distinction of a Top Workplace reassures us that our practices work for our team. We thank everyone who shared their TEC experiences to help us secure this award!”
