TEC Announces International Educational Program at 2nd Forum of Local Environmental Authorities

Program will empower 35 local governments with environmental education curriculum

The Energy Coalition was proud to recently participate in the 2nd Forum of Local Environmental Authorities, organized by the CC35 Climate Summit of the Americas, the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the government of Santiago, Chile. During the meeting, participants explored innovative and scalable solutions for a post-pandemic green reconstruction from the capital cities of the Americas.

At the Forum, TEC announced a new Energy is Everything program that will empower 35 local authorities participating in the Forum to make the leap into a clean energy future. In partnership with CC35 and the capital cities of the Americas, we are creating the foundation for a new energy economy where communities become energy-producing networks and clean energy is affordable and accessible to all.

We congratulate the leadership of Santiago de Chile and all local environmental authorities for bringing together this historic exchange that will benefit millions of people. TEC looks forward to continuing our partnership and to bringing Energy is Everything to local authorities across the Americas. Learn more about TEC’s educational offerings here.
